Kendall Graveman Records Seventh Save Sunday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Kendall Graveman successfully saved the first game against the Chicago White Sox Sunday, allowing just one hit in an inning of work. He did not strike out any batters. Graveman has now locked down back-to-back save opportunities, and those are the first back-to-back scoreless outings for the right-hander since his return from the COVID list. Graveman has been excellent all season, and his 1.19 ERA and 0.66 WHIP make him very valuable despite the mediocre saves total.
