Mitch Haniger Homers, Drives In Three Sunday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger provided most of the offense in Sunday's second game, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI, and two runs scored. The Mariners were being no-hit until Haniger's sixth-inning double, and he followed that up with his 17th home run of the year in the seventh, a three-run shot off White Sox reliever Jimmy Lambert. He now has three consecutive two-hit games, a positive sign in a month in which he's slashed .242/.266/.374 in 91 at-bats. Fantasy managers will be hopeful he can recover his early-season form. He remains an excellent play in all formats.
