3 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Sonny Gray (groin) will return to the team's rotation Friday. The 31-year-old has been on the injured list since June 9 due to a right groin strain. He completed a rehab outing on Saturday with the club's Triple-A affiliate and will now face the Chicago Cubs in his next start. Gray has worked to a 3.42 ERA in 10 starts spanning 50 innings this season. He's struck out 65 batters and has walked just 20. Fantasy managers shouldn't hesitate in relying on the veteran against Chicago. Current Cubs hitters have just 12 combined hits, compared to 34 strikeouts, in 101 career at-bats against Gray.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
