3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Garrett Richards had another tough outing Monday, allowing five runs on 11 hits and no walks to the Kansas City Royals in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out just three batters, and allowed three home runs. Richards has now allowed at least four earned runs in four consecutive outings, ballooning his ERA to 4.96 and his WHIP to 1.69. He's been quite public with his struggles since the ban on foreign substances, and fantasy managers are probably better off cutting Richards from rosters while he figures things out.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
