3 years agoCleveland Indians second baseman Cesar Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI in Monday night's 13-5 win over the Detroit Tigers. Hernandez had been in a bit of a funk as he had just three hits since June 19th before this game, but perhaps he will start to come out of it after this outburst. He is a worthy bench player in deeper leagues as he leads off for the Tribe and they are about to get Franmil Reyes back in the middle of the order, which should certainly help Cesar's run-scoring production moving forward.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
