3 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays had a great overall game in Monday's 9-7 win over the Astros, going 3-for-5 with two singles, a two-run home run, and a strikeout. He also robbed a second-inning HR. Hays clobbered a ninth-inning Brandon Bielak breaking pitch into the left-field seats to break the 4-4- tie and put the O's up by two. The 25-year-old is still searching for the solid batting numbers he had in 2019 and 2020 and is now slashing .242/.303/.418 with seven HR and 22 RBI.
