LaMonte Wade Jr. Hits Sixth Homer Of Season Monday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. had a nice day at the plate in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers, going 2-for-4 with a single, a solo home run, and a strikeout. Wade Jr. lofted a third-inning Trevor Bauer offering just over the right-field wall for his sixth HR of the season. The 27-year-old has found himself back at first base with Brandon Belt (knee) back on the injured list. He has continued to hit well, slashing .280/.362/.527 with 14 RBI and two stolen bases while hitting atop the Giants' lineup. He is currently rostered in just three percent of leagues, so he is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
