3 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez blasted his 14th home run of the season in an 11-5 rout of the Los Angeles Angels Tuesday. Sanchez's first-inning home run gave the Yankees a 1-0 lead. The blast registered an expected batting average of .670 and was the slugging backstop's eighth homer of June, as he has really turned his season around. Sanchez ranks among the top-10 catchers in barrels per plate appearance as well as expected slugging percentage and has the upside to finish among the top fantasy performers at his position. He'll get a tough matchup on Wednesday against talented Angels' hurler Shohei Ohtani.--Tim Capurso
