3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Chicago White Sox. Donaldson got every bit of a Lucas Giolito fastball, sending it into the left-field seats at 111.2 MPH. The veteran third baseman has now homered one each of the last two games he's played and has driven in a run in three straight contests. Donaldson has hit the ball hard since spring training and all season long so far, though it finally seems to be showing up on the stat sheet. He'll look to keep rolling on Wednesday against righty Dylan Cease, who has had a strong season but has allowed six runs twice in June.--Tim Capurso
