3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo returned to the lineup Tuesday after getting a day off and had a strong game against the Kansas City Royals, going 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored. The power has not been there for Verdugo of late, with just two extra-base hits in his last 11 games, but he has continued to get on base and score runs, with seven walks and six runs scored over his last seven contests. Verdugo has been a consistent all-category contributor for fantasy managers this year with a .780 OPS, nine homers, four steals, 49 runs, and 32 RBI.
