Vidal Brujan Reaches Base Five Times At Triple-A
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays prospect Vidal Brujan went 3-for-3 with two steals on Tuesday at Triple-A. Two of his hits were doubles while the third was a single. Brujan is no doubt looking forward to saying goodbye to June. The 23-year-old athlete lit the world on fire in May with a triple-slash line of .315/.408/.584. He also had seven homers, 14 walks, and nine steals in 22 games. So far in June, he has a triple-slash line of just .190/.266/.369 with two homers, nine walks, and five steals in 22 games. Brujan will hope for a hot start to July to earn a promotion to the majors where he would be a valuable contributor due to his speed and ability to play multiple positions. He's ranked by Rotoballer as the 28th-best prospect for dynasty baseball.
