3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Kevin Gausman fell to 8-2 in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers. Gausman pitched 5 innings, allowing three runs on three hits (including a solo home run) and five walks with four strikeouts. The matchup was a tough one and Gausman didn't pitch poorly, so fantasy managers should cut him some slack here. He has been fantastic all season and now owns a 1.68 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, and 29.9% strikeout rate. He will look to rebound in his next start against the Cardinals at home.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
