3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers is absent from Wednesday's lineup for the contest against the Chicago White Sox. Jeffers has posted some strong power numbers in June, including five homers and a .516 slugging percentage, though he has slipped into an 0-for-9 stretch over his last three games. Benjamin Rortvedt will be behind the plate and will bat eighth against White Sox righty Dylan Cease. Rortvedt owns just a .409 OPS and is more of a defensive presence for Minnesota.--Tim Capurso
