3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 1-for-4 with an RBI, two runs scored, a stolen base, a walk and a strikeout in a 6-2 win over the Pirates on Wednesday. Tapia reached base twice and scored a pair of runs for the Rockies as they completed their series sweep of the Pirates. He knocked in a run with a single in the bottom of the sixth inning before swiping second and scoring in the same frame. The 27-year-old has struggled at the plate over the last seven games, slashing .143/.200/.179, but he's stolen three bases over that span. He's got a solid .291 batting average to go along with a .743 OPS, five home runs, 38 RBI and 11 stolen bases on the season (302 at-bats). He should continue to remain a mixed-league asset, as he's already set a new career-high in steals.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
