Marco Luciano Hits Fourth Homer In Three Games At Low-A
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants prospect Marco Luciano flexed his muscles again on Wednesday when he went 1-for-2 with a home run and two walks. The 19-year-old shortstop has now gone deep four times in the last three games. He has 13 homers in 46 appearances this season — his first full year in pro ball after signing out of the Dominican Republic back in 2018. Luciano leads Low-A baseball in home runs with the next closest player, Milwaukee's Joe Gray Jr., at 11. The Giants prospect has some swing-and-miss to his game but a 21% strikeout rate is reasonable given his age and power output. He also has an impressive 12% walk rate. Luciano is ranked by Rotoballer as the fourth-best prospect for dynasty baseball.
