3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Jean Carlos Mejia allowed six earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three across four innings of work in a 7-2 loss to the Houston Astros on Thursday night. Mejia has now allowed six earned runs in two of his previous three starts and holds a 6.18 ERA with 25 strikeouts across 27 2/3 innings pitched on the season. The Indians desperately need Zach Plesac, Shane Bieber, and Aaron Civale back in the rotation as the replacements have not been up to the task this season. Mejia is non-rosterable and should remain on the wire.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
