3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo has endured a bit of a cold stretch of late, but he picked up two his in four at-bats against the Kansas City Royals Thursday, extending his modest hitting streak to four games. He also scored a run in Thursday's game. Verdugo has just eight extra-base hits since the start of June, which has to disappoint fantasy managers, but perhaps this recent stretch of games will get him going again. He's been a solid investment for the year, with a .782 OPS, nine homers, four steals, 52 runs, and 32 RBI.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
