Antonio Senzatela Goes Seven Innings In No-Decision
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela took a no-decision on Thursday when he allowed two runs on seven hits with five strikeouts over seven innings in a 5-2 win over the Cardinals. The 26-year-old was rock solid on Thursday, scattering seven hits over his seven innings of work. He served up an RBI single to Paul DeJong in the top of the second inning and a solo home run to Paul Goldschmidt in the top of the third, which accounted for all of the earned runs against him. The Rockies and Cards were locked in a 2-2 tie by the time Senzatela left the game so he took a no-decision. He's now notched a quality start in three of his last six turns and owns a 4.58 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 60:20 K/BB ratio over 88 1/3 innings (16 starts). He'll look to build on this start in his next turn when he faces the D-Backs in the desert.
