Kyle Tucker Scratched From Lineup On Friday
3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker (back) has been scratched from Friday's lineup against the Cleveland Indians. Tucker was sidelined late due to back spasms, the team reported. Hopefully for fantasy managers, the 24-year-old isn't out of the lineup for long, since he is coming off of a strong June and is hitting .264/.323/.476 on the season with 13 home runs, five stolen bases, 47 RBI and 44 runs scored. Chas McCormick will fill in and bat sixth against Indians left-handed pitcher Sam Hentges. The 26-year-old McCormick is an intriguing DFS play this evening. The right-handed hitter is batting just .228 (28-for-123) in 51 games, but he does have nine home runs, 27 RBI and two stolen bases in limited playing time.
