Marcus Stroman Activated From Bereavement List
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (personal) was activated from the bereavement list on Friday. The veteran only spent a few days with the designation, and the announcement opens the door for him to make his scheduled start against the Yankees on Saturday. Stroman has been a relatively consistent source of production for fantasy managers this season, with the 30-year-old currently owning a 2.44 ERA and an acceptable 6-6 record to go along with 78 strikeouts during 17 starts. In corresponding moves, David Peterson (side) landed on the 10-day injured list, while Thomas Szapucki, Patrick Mazeika, and Travis Blankenhorn will head back to Triple-A Syracuse.
