3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Frankie Montas allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision versus the Red Sox on Friday. Montas allowed five hits and three walks while picking up just three strikeouts in the outing. On the season, Montas is 7-7 with a 4.63 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP, not the best ratios for fantasy, but certainly, someone to start the he has a good matchup. Unfortunately, that won't be the case in his next start at Houston. Montas should be left on the bench for that matchup.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
