3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo returned to the Mets lineup on Saturday following a long stint on the injured list and made his presence felt immediately. Nimmo went 3-for-6 with two runs scored while playing centerfield and batting leadoff, as the Mets defeated the Yankees 8-3. Nimmo had not played since early May due to a left index finger injury. Provided he can remain healthy going forward, Nimmo should continue to perform as a top-tier place setter with a solid batting average and an elite on-base percentage. He now owns a .333/.435/.444 slash line over 22 games on the season.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
