3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling allowed one run over 5 1/3 IP on Saturday, but settled for a no-decision despite his club going on to win 6-3 over the Rays. Stripling was yanked after 97 pitches in the sixth, which was unfortunate since he would have been in line for the win after his club put up five runs in the bottom half of the frame. Still, it was a solid outing for the right-hander who surrendered just two hits and three walks while striking out five on the afternoon. After a terrible first month and a half of the season, Stripling has got his numbers sitting at a respectable 4.06 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with 73 strikeouts in 71 IP on the season. He's made himself worth rostering in most formats as he looks to keep his momentum going in a rematch versus the Rays on the road next weekend.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
