3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins went 2-for-3 with a homer, a double, and two RBI in a win over the Padres on Saturday. Hoskins and Bryce Harper launched back-to-back homers against Padres' ace Yu Darvish to get the home team on the board in the second inning. Hoskins wasn't done there, as he drove in a run with a double in the sixth inning. Hoskins badly needed a game like this as he had just one hit in his last 31 at-bats coming into the game. Hoskins is known as a streaky hitter, so this could be the start of another hot streak for the big first baseman. He should be started in fantasy versus left-hander Blake Snell on Sunday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
