3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Kevin Kramer has been acquired by the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for left-handed pitcher Nathan Kirby. An interesting move by the Brewers to take a chance on a .152/.222/.165 hitter. This appears to be a depth move ahead of the trade deadline. Kirby has missed multiple seasons due to injury, but appears healthy now. He is posting a 1.93 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 19/13 K/BB ratio across 18 2/3 innings in Double-A this season. Possibly, Kirby gets a chance in the Pirates bullpen later this season. Regardless, neither player is going to have fantasy value going forward.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
