3 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (quadriceps) has recently been doing some light running. However, he isn't expected back before the All-Star break. The 27-year-old right-handed hitter has been out since June 16 because of a strained left quad, but it appears as if he is inching closer toward a return. Bregman is batting .275, with 37 runs, 34 RBI, and seven dingers this season, so fantasy managers are hoping to see him back sooner rather than later. In the meantime, Abraham Toro and Robel Garcia should continue to hold things down at the hot box until Bregman can return to the big club.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
