3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto went a combined 0-for-4 with two runs scored and two walks in the Mets doubleheader against the Yankees on Sunday. Conforto is now just 4-for-34 (.118) in 12 games since returning from the injured list, with two of those hits in his first game back. Fantasy managers may wish to keep Conforto on the bench until he shows any signs of life at the plate. Between the significant hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for over one month and an overall slash line of .204/.341/.293 with just two homers and 15 RBI in 45 games, it has been a season to forget for the 28-year-old. Hopefully, Conforto can turn things around for fantasy managers and the Mets in the second half of the season. A current xBA of .251 and an elite walk rate of 14% would suggest at least some positive regression is forthcoming.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
