3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (finger) is back in the lineup and batting fourth on Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants. The 26-year-old had been considered day-to-day since being hit in the pinkie finger during an at-bat on Saturday. O'Neill has been solid this season, hitting .277/.332/.559 with 15 home runs, 36 RBI, six stolen bases and 37 runs scored. All but one of those home runs have come against right-handed pitching, so O'Neill will surely look for another off of San Francisco's struggling starter Johnny Cueto, who has given up two homers per game in four of his last five starts.
