3 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Max Stassi will catch Shohei Ohtani and bat fifth against right-handed pitcher Nathan Eovaldi and the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday. He hasn't caught for the Angels ace since April 4. Angels manager Joe Maddon told reporters he likes the matchup between Stassi and Eovaldi, which makes sense since the 30-year-old catcher is hitting .310/.380/.465 with three home runs against righties this season. Stassi missed some time earlier this season due to injury but rebounded very nicely at the plate in June, hitting .303/.387/.545 with four home runs, 12 RBI and 17 runs scored on 20 hits. Consider him a deep DFS sleeper on Tuesday at the catching position.--Chelena Goldman
