3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers went 2-for-3 Tuesday against the Washington Nationals, smacking a home run and collecting five RBI. Myers set the tone with a three-run bomb in the fourth inning against Nats starter Erick Fedde before contributing a sacrifice fly and roping an insurance RBI double in his subsequent opportunities. With just a 106 wRC+ this season, Myers has gradually been getting intermittent days off but the big evening lifts his slash to .252/.321/.430 for the season over 271 plate appearances. The 30-year-old has popped 10 homers, stolen five bags and amassed 60 runs-plus-RBI. Best viewed as a rotational OF4 in standard fantasy formats, managers should expect him to continue making four or five starts a week.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
