3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. Manager David Ross claims Arrieta has been dealing with a lingering hamstring issue since May. Arrieta was horrendous during his last outing against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. He carries a 6.30 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 74 1/3 innings this season. In the meantime, Cory Abbott has been recalled to take Arrieta's spot on the active roster. Neither player is worth rostering in most fantasy formats at the moment.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
