3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed one run over five innings of work on Wednesday as his club went on to defeat the Orioles 10-2. The veteran improved to 8-5 on the season as he finished the contest with seven punchouts to two walks and five hits allowed. It was a nice bounce-back outing for Ryu who entered this one with a 5.35 ERA over his previous six starts as questions about durability have inevitably been brought up. Perhaps he's gotten himself back on track just in time for the second half as the left-hander takes a 3.56 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 81 K through 98 2/3 IP into the All-Star break.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
