3 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras continues to be productive at the plate. The catcher has reached base in eight consecutive games dating back to late June. That stretch hasn't included a home run, but he's hitting .308 with a .500 on-base percentage, 10 walks and just three strikeouts in 36 plate appearances during those eight games. On the season, the 29-year-old has been productive for both the Cubs and fantasy managers, hitting .236 with a .342 on-base percentage, 13 home runs and three stolen bases in 304 plate appearances.
