3 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went 2-for-4 in the Astros 2-1 loss to the A's on Thursday. Gurriel came into the game in a 5-for-33 slump at the plate but racked up two singles in this game. The 37-year-old is having another fantastic offensive season, slashing .319/.385/.485 with 10 home runs, 19 doubles, 43 runs scored and 54 runs batted in through 295 at-bats. As the first half of the season is coming to a close, Gurriel can be counted on to continue his consistent production moving forward.
