Michael Brantley Goes Hitless Thursday
3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley went 0-for-4 in the team's 2-1 loss to the A's on Thursday. Brantley returned to the lineup on Tuesday after missing a few games with a side injury. It is possible the injury could still be hampering him and is 2-for-12 over his last three games. With the All-Star break right around the corner, Brantley will have plenty of time to heal up. DFS lineups might want to avoid Brantley until after the break to ensure he is as healthy as possible. For the season, the veteran is slashing an impressive .332/.377/.487 with five home runs, 23 doubles, 31 runs batted in and 42 runs scored through 271 at-bats.
