3 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tyler Mahle allowed three earned runs on four hits and four walks while striking out six in six innings of work in Thursday night's 5-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. Mahle gave up two runs in the first after allowing three of the first four batters he faced to reach base. He then settled down until he allowed one more run in the sixth. The six strikeouts are what we have come to expect from Mahle as he now has 118 strikeouts through 95 1/3 innings pitched to close out the first half of the season.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
