3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman/outfielder Brad Miller went 3-for-4 with three home runs in a win over the Cubs on Thursday. It was Miller's 14th-career multi-homer game and the first time the 31-year-old hit three homers in a game. Miller flashed impressive opposite-field power on his first homer, smacking a line drive to the bleachers in left-center field. He would go on to hit two-run homers in his next two at-bats and even came up in the ninth with a chance at a four-homer game, but he popped up to shortstop and had to settle for three homers and five RBI. Fantasy managers shouldn't chase Miller based off this performance, however, as he's mostly been a bench player and his impressive power comes with an unsightly 33 percent strikeout rate. Miller's best use in fantasy is as a cheap power source in DFS when he is in the lineup.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
