Nate Lowe Not In Friday’s Lineup
3 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe isn't starting for the team on Friday. The 26-year-old has provided solid value for both the Rangers and fantasy managers in his debut season in Texas. In 363 plate appearances, Lowe is hitting .261 with a .355 on-base percentage and 12 home runs. He's also chipped in with four stolen bases. However, he won't be in the lineup against the Oakland Athletics on Friday. Texas will instead turn to Andy Ibanez at first base in the first game of a three-game series against the A's. Ibanez is hitting second against Athletics left-hander Cole Irvin. If you need a streaming option at first base in either daily fantasy play or season-long formats, you're probably better off looking elsewhere. Ibanez is hitting just .191 with a .222 on-base percentage and one home run in 72 plate appearances so far this season.
