3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie gave up one hit and one walk while striking out nine in seven scoreless innings of work in a 2-1 win over the Kansas City Royals Friday night. You read that correctly; McKenzie had just one walk on the night and put up his best performance of the season in this one after spending the past month in AAA. McKenzie was recalled for this start, and given his performance, he will likely be asked to stick around after the break, but that is still to be determined. If he rejoins the rotation after the break, he will provide plenty of fantasy upside, but also poses some risk given his tendencies to allow big innings.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
