3 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Emmanuel Clase allowed one earned run on two hits while striking out one in the top of the eighth inning of Friday night's 2-1 win over the Kansas City Royals. Last night fellow reliever, James Karinchak blew the save, and tonight it was Clase's turn. Clase has allowed three earned runs in his previous two appearances after having allowed just one earned run in all of June. That being said, he is still a dangerous weapon for the Tribe and will continue to get save opportunities moving forward. He will carry a 1.72 ERA with 41 strikeouts across 36 2/3 innings pitched into his next appearance.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
