3 years agoBoston Red Sox infielder/outfielder Danny Santana (quadriceps) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday night. The 30-year-old switch-hitter was injured during Tuesday's matchup against the Los Angeles Angels, suffering a strained left quad in the seventh inning before getting the plug pulled. Santana hasn't done much for fantasy managers this season, currently batting a horrific .167, with 10 runs, 10 RBI, three homers, and three stolen bases. Michael Chavis was called up from Triple-A Worcester to fill the void, although he doesn't offer much of an upside either.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
