3 years agoThe burning question for Denny Hamlin is when does he win a race already? He still leads the points race by a scant few over Kyle Larson. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has 11 top-five finishes without a win. Hamlin has an average finish of 6.0 in his last four races at Atlanta including three top-tens. That ranks fourth among drivers who have raced there over the past three seasons. Hamlin nearly won last time in Atlanta but dropped to fourth late as he led 27 laps. Can the No. 11 and his pit crew keep the car together during that critical run during the final laps? It has been a lingering question all season long.
