3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 1-for-3 with a grand slam, two runs scored, and a walk in the Mets 13-4 drubbing of the Pirates on Friday. Lindor had been starting to warm up at the plate and, perhaps, the grand slam will really get the 27-year-old to break out as we head into the second half of the season. He is now batting .333/.500/.476 with one homer, eight RBI, six runs scored, and one steal over his last seven games. His metrics, including an overall hard-hit rate and a walk rate which are the highest of his career, suggest positive regression which we are potentially starting to see. Though we have seen Lindor heat up and subsequently fall into long droughts at the plate previously this season, it is possible his true buy-low window is beginning to close. Fantasy managers should keep Lindor active in all formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
