J.P. Crawford Reaches Three Times, Scores Twice Friday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford reached base three times against the Los Angeles Angels Friday night, going 1-for-3 with a double, two walks, and two runs scored. Crawford was miffed to be left off the all-star team, and he continued to display why he would have been a worthy selection. Crawford slashed .352/.400/.528 in June and he's only continued in July. For the season, he now has a .737 OPS with five homers, three steals, 45 runs scored, and 31 RBI in 322 at-bats. He's been an excellent value for fantasy managers who grabbed him off the waiver wire, and he should continue to excel going forward, especially in the runs category.
