3 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Matt Andriese (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. This is frustrating news considering Andriese has been an important piece to the Red Sox bullpen. He has not pitched overly well, but has thrown 37 1/3 innings across 26 appearances. The team has not given a timetable for Andriese, but he'll likely be sidelined at least a few weeks. Boston has not announced a corresponding move, but whoever it is probably won't pitch in high leverage situations.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
