3 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Marcus Semien belted a two-run homer on Saturday, providing his team with the only runs of the game as they fell to the Rays 5-2. His 22nd big fly of the campaign came off Ryan Yarbrough in the third inning as he finished the day going 1-for-3 with a walk. Semien's selection to the 2021 All-Star game has been deserving since he's slashing a cool .279/.346/.533 with 67 runs, 56 RBI, and 10 steals as the everyday leadoff hitter for the Jays. Managers should be thrilled with his results on date with just one more game left to play before the mid-summer classic.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
