Matt Moore Pitches Into Fifth Inning Versus Red Sox
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Matt Moore allowed two runs in 4 1/3 innings in a no-decision versus the Red Sox on Saturday. Moore struggled in this one as he allowed three hits and three walks as well as a number of hard-hit balls. According to Statcast, Moore allowed five batted balls with an exit velocity over 100 MPH; four of them went for outs. The veteran lefty will carry an unsightly 5.40 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP into the All-Star break spanning 12 games (six starts). Moore is best left on waivers in fantasy.
