3 years agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Derek Holland (shoulder) was reinstated from the injured list on Saturday. The 34-year-old is currently sitting on a 1-1 record and a miserable 9.60 ERA throughout 14 big league appearances this season. He has been on the shelf since June because of left shoulder inflammation, but he likely won't add much value to fantasy lineups unless he takes on a more prominent role in the rotation moving ahead. To make room for Holland, Matt Manning was optioned back to Triple-A Toledo.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
