Vladimir Gutierrez Solid In No-Decision
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Vladimir Gutierrez held the Milwaukee Brewers to one run over six innings of work in a 4-3 win on Saturday. Gutierrez scattered five hits and walked two in what wound up as a no-decision for the rookie. The right-hander has been solid through the first nine starts of his MLB career, posting a 4-3 record, 4.29 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 36 strikeouts in 50 1/3 innings of work. Gutierrez's lack of strikeout upside limits him from a fantasy perspective but he's worth a look as a streamer in plus matchups after the All-Star break concludes.
