Aaron Nola, Alec Bohm Placed On COVID-19 Injured List
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola and third baseman Alec Bohm have been placed on the COVID-19 injured list, along with pitchers Bailey Falter and Connor Brogdon, according to NBS Sports Philadelphia. Nola was supposed to start Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox and will be replaced by Brandon Kintzler, who should be ignored for fantasy purposes given the tough matchup and the fact that he's unlikely to go deep in the game. Fantasy managers with daily moves need to remove Nola and Bohm from their lineups. The third baseman tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss at least 10 days, according to The Athletic. Ronald Torreyes will play third on Sunday and bat eighth, but the .260 hitter should only be an emergency option for desperate managers.
